Menu: What’s for Dinner?

We have included some samples of favorite hors doeuvres, salads & sides, and entrees. When we design your menu for your event, we like to consider your event independently of others we have catered. Please use these sample selections simply as a starting point, but contact us for a customized menu proposal that will be suited to your preferences and budget.

Buying Local: What does that mean for a caterer?

Summer and fall are excellent seasons to use fresh veggies and fruits from local Vermont Farms. Its so handy to purchase fresh veggies, herbs and garlic from the Last Resort Organic Farm. We know Eugenie and Sam who own and operate the farm and can see their fields from my kitchen. Now thats fresh!

The growing season is pretty short in Vermont but year-round, we love using amazing Vermont cheeses, like Cabot and Shelburne Farms Cheddar and Orb Weaver, a mild Havarti-like artisan cheese. Freshly baked olive rolls are made fresh daily at OBread Bakery in Shelburne and Dakin Farms Spiral Ham is a favorite at many receptions. Conclude your evening with a great cup of coffee from one Vermonts small coffee roasters like Awake, Ralstons or Green Mountain Coffee.
